Breast cancer for me ,  is very close to the heart. April 2008 I was diagnosed with breast cancer , I went through 2 limpectomie's and then started with chemo June 2008. After 6 chemo sessions , every three weeks apart , radiation began. 35 Sessions later and I thought now it's the end. Luckily I found the bossom buddies , if it weren't for there support , surely I would have given up. Going through chemo and radiation you have constant medical care, but after that you on your own.

Suddenly you aware of every ache and pain , and always let the devil make you believe cancer is back. The bossom buddy support system give you access to all other cancer survivors, which can help you get through every day. December will be two years down the line and still clean. I AM A SURVIVOR , Yeah!!!!

My husband is a serious cyclist. I never thought I would like it , and only went with for the support. Then he started MTB and I liked the vibe and the comoradie between mountain bike riders.

Well I got my Silverback and now I love it. When I did the Spar 10 km and the Avon walk , i wondered if there weren't a way that as a cyclist I can do something for breastcancer. I met Andries on Facebook , and the rest as they would say is history. I am honoured to ride for the Bossom Buddies and Pink peddlars. As a survivor I believe I can make a contribution to the Breast cancer Cause!!
