I decided to do something about breast cancer awareness, education and fund raising back in 2009 when I started the Buddy Team (Pink Peddlers).

Breast cancer has a devastating effect on women and their families once diagnosed. Early detection and treatment improves your chances greatly.

I couldn’t just stand there and see this, and not do anything about it!

Breast cancer can be beaten we just need to detect and treat is early enough!

By riding in my Pink Peddlers Cycling gear improves awareness and if you visit our site www.pinkpeddlers.org.za and www.backabuddy.co.za helps to raise money used to do public education then I have achieved 2 of my goals in one go.

It has been a hard and tiring process to get to this point, but I have not given up and will not either.

With all my new Pink Peddlers (Core, Champions and Crew) members we’re going to get the word around and out there so better you join The Pink Peddlers either as a Champion or a Crew member as resistance is futile, we’re going to paint the SA roads pink with our Pink Peddlers kit!
